FAQ's

Frequently asked questions

How much is a consultation?

Consultations are Free of charge and a great opportunity to discuss shape, colour and any questions you may have. If you decide to go ahead I will take a £30 non-refundable deposit to book your next appointment. You will also be given a skin sensitivity test pack and in depth consultation to fill in

What is included in the price?

1. Consultation & Patch Test 2. Initial brow session 3. 6-8 week touch up 4. Aftercare healing pack

What is the aftercare advice?

You will be provided with an in depth aftercare advice slip with a healing care pack. Generally speaking new brows take around 10days to heal to the naked eye and for the colour to settle down. During this time you cannot swim, use sauna & steam rooms and should avoid getting excessively sweaty. Underneath the top layer of skin it will take 4-6 weeks for the skin to fully recover. This is why the touch up appointment should not take place before this time.

What to look out for when choosing your permanent make-up artist.

Pricing should not be the only deciding factor when choosing an artist. The price you can expect to pay for a highly skilled treatment like semi-permanent make up will reflect an artists experience, training and products used. Michelle is fully insured, licened, level 4 qualfied and uses the very best pigments and needles available. Michelle has completed many training courses and contiuously develops her skills. The pigments Michelle uses are stable and will not change over time. Quality pigments and needles are not cheap and so the price you pay will reflect this. The very safest of protective equipment and hygiene procedures are followed. It is important to remember a tattoo on your face will be there for many years to come.

Will it hurt?

This is at the top of my most frequantly asked questions!! I use a numbing cream prior to starting your treatment that will substntially block pain and make the treatment for comfortable. Some clients feel more than others but it is over quickly and I will top up the numbing cream throughout the session.

How long will it last?

You can expect semi-permanent make up to last around 18 months. How long it lasts varies between clients and depends on many factors such as; -Skin Type -Skin age -Sun exposure -Products used You won't wake up one day without brows they will just slowley fade over time. There is a discount if you have a colour boost between 12 & 18months.
